The challenge
The customer transferred an existing product and its molds to Plastomold. They wanted to integrate separately assembled components into the main body to simplify production, improve product quality and work with a supplier holding medical-sector ISO certification.
Plastomold's solution
We reviewed the product and the existing molds, implemented the design change to eliminate the separate components and made further mold improvements to enhance product reliability. We also took responsibility for pad printing, starting with manual printing and later introducing an automatic machine. Hundreds of thousands of units have been produced.
